Apparently the collective noun for a group of Magpies is a "tidings". It could make a great novel title: "Tidings of Magpies" - all about Collingwood's great surges towards their premierships.
But damn the novel; buy the poster. It's shorter, has all the tidings you could possibly want, and gets to the happy ending quicker.
There's one magpie for each premiership year, plus the beautiful optimistic blue sky you always hope for in September.
